TwinSpires shut down its affiliate program for its online sports betting and iGaming products as part of a larger corporate decision to exit those markets in 2022, and now will do the same for its key offering, horse racing.
As of September 2025, TwinSpires horse racing is available for online wagering in approximately 39 states. The company has accepted bets online for the last two decades and advertises heavily during the Kentucky Derby.
"We’re reaching out to let you know that, effective October 1st, your affiliate account will be closed as part of an upcoming program update. Please ensure that you pause all traffic and remove any active promotions or links related to our program as of this date," TwinSpires notified all affiliates on Wednesday.
